She got her first big break with the 2017 movie Girls Trip, alongside Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett-Smith. The next year, she won an Emmy for her gig as the first African-American woman to host Saturday Night Live, and landed a two-year deal with HBO.

Tiffany plays an ex-con who turns to her sister for help after being released from prison, with Tika Sumpter playing her straight-laced sister. Omari Hardwick and Whoopi Goldberg also star in this Tyler Perry comedy.

This stand-up show is subtitled “From the Hood to Hollywood”, and sees Tiffany recounting real experiences from her life before stardom. She also hosted They Ready in 2019, and the follow-up, They Ready S2, in February 2021, where she introduced six hand-picked up-and-coming women comedians. Both seasons are on Netflix.

Real-life NBA star Kyrie Irving stars in this fun basketball movie about a legend rounding up his former team to prove that old men can still jump. Tiffany, who plays Jess, admitted to not knowing who Kyrie Irving was when she first saw him on set (in her defence, he was in costume).

With Tiffany Hadish, Salma Hayek and Rose Byrne, this raunchy movie follows two best friends who own a beauty business and put all their dreams on the line when they partner with a major beauty corporation.
