Where to stream two of the most anticipated TV shows of 2019 in South Africa
Welcome back to Monterey, and the Republic of Gilead, where the balance of power is constantly shifting and the horror of the truth is efficiently covered up – but for how long? That’s right, we’re talking about two of the most eagerly awaited TV series to drop in 2019. As of 10 June 2019, South Africans can now stream both HBO’s Big Little Lies S2 and The Handmaid’s Tale S3.
Big Little Lies S2
“The Monterey Five” are back, and after the shocking murder of a prominent resident at the end of Season 1, they’ve got a much fiercer adversary to face: Perry’s mother and Celeste’s mother-in-law, played by Meryl Streep, who will stop at nothing to get answers.
Season 1 is available to binge-watch on Showmax if you need to catch up.
Season 2 arrives on Showmax and DStv Now at the same time – every Monday night at 21:00. Stream episode 1 right now.
The Handmaid’s Tale S3
The finale of Season 2 left us all shook – what was June thinking, staying in Gilead and sending her baby daughter off with Emily, who’s finally getting to escape? (Haven’t watch S1-2 yet? Catch up on Showmax now.)
We’re about to get answers to this question and more, now that The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 has arrived on Showmax and DStv Now.
Find out how the revolution is set to play out by streaming episode 1 of Season 3 on DStv Now. New episodes land every Monday at 22:30.
Showmax subscribers have an even greater advantage. Episodes 1 and 2 of Season 3 are currently available to stream, as of 10 June 2019. New episodes, starting at episode 3, will land on Showmax at the same time as on M-Net, every Monday from 17 June at 22:30.
