Brexit: The Uncivil War (2019)

Oscar nominee Benedict Cumberbatch (Patrick Melrose) stars as political strategist Dominic Cummings, who leads a popular but controversial campaign to convince British voters to leave the European Union. The movie goes behind the scenes of the Leave and Remain campaigns leading up to the 2016 referendum.

The Times (UK) called Brexit “rollickingly good entertainment, in a heart-sinking ‘oh, but this is still our real-life car crash’ kind of way.”

This film was a 2019 Emmy nominee for Best TV Movie, and a 2020 Critics Choice nominee for Best TV Movie.
