The story of Dr Jason Bull was inspired by the early career of Dr Phil McGraw. Dr Bull is a renowned psychologist who sets up a trial consulting firm to help his clients win their court cases. He uses unusual methods to figure out what makes jurors, witnesses and other key role-players tick in the high-pressure context of a trial.

Michael Weatherly, who plays the eponymous psychologist, is an NCIS alum, and his performance in this show has been described as top notch.

The fourth season of the fan-favourite series is now streaming on DStv, with new episodes landing every Thursday at 21:30 on M-Net (channel 101).
