Now, after a 10-year hiatus from our screens, he’s back with a new show, fresh sketches and familiar faces from his routines over the years, like Oom Kallie and Montelle, the “trolly dolly”.
One of Casper’s fun new sketch inserts is his TV news report spoof cNuus, where Casper channels iconic South news anchor Riaan Cruywagen. Another frequent sketch is called Die Laager, a play on reality show Survivor – but with the theme of Voortrekkers.
Look out for appearances from Getroud Met Rugby star Arno Greeff, Die Ware Naarheid’s comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout, Hotel actress Mila Guy, and Die Boekklub actor De Klerk Oelofse.
