Season 6 of HBO’s fan-favourite geeky comedy is taking the web by storm, having premiered in the States this past weekend. If you subscribe to Showmax, it’s time to get excited – Silicon Valley S6 will air on Showmax in December 2019, with the full boxset of all episodes coming first and only to the streaming platform.
The following paragraph with links and the teaser video contain Season 6 spoilers.
If you’re not averse to spoilers or if you simply can’t wait til December to find out what happens at the Pied Piper/PiperNet headquarters, check out what The New York Times (“Over five seasons, Silicon Valley has been viciously precise in lambasting techies’ antisocial foibles”), The Atlantic (“The earlier seasons of Silicon Valley satirized the absurdity of the tech bubble by examining how quickly a start-up can rise and fall [and rise again]”) and Collider (“Six seasons may not sound like a lot, but viewers have been on a long journey with the fictional Pied Piper gang”) had to say about Season 6 so far.
Here’s a little teaser of what to expect, released yesterday by HBO.
In the meantime, for those who haven’t kept up with the ups, the downs, the mergers and the break-ups in Pied Piper (and for those who need a refresher course), all five previous seasons are available to binge-watch on Showmax.
