If you love singing, dancing and teen drama, you’ll definitely want to binge Glee. All six seasons of the 2009-2015 show are now available to sing along to on Showmax.
Glee followed the ups and downs of the teachers and students at William McKinley High School. The kids are mostly misfits, using music as a way to fit into the tough social order. Idealistic teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) inspires the kids to have fun and use their time in class as a break from things in their lives that hold them down – something that a lot of school kids in the modern world could use.
It’s fun and silly but with life lessons that are relevant years later. And just remember: Glee was created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the guys responsible for American Horror Story.
“Let’s give Glee credit for what it does well. It showcases talented kids who love singing. Some of the lessons it offers are encouraging. Kids’ relationships with their parents and other authority figures are often positive. All of them are pushed to follow their dreams and be themselves – good advice,” reviews pluggedin.com’s TV team.
