June’s back with a vengeance in June 2019

Brand-new weekly episodes of The Handmaid's Tale Season 3 are due to land on Showmax and DStv Now every Monday from 10 June 2019. Here's a hint of what to expect.

The revolution is coming. In The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3, June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss), also known by her Gilead-given slave name of Offred, is going to make use of the powerful allies at her disposal to bring down the regime once and for all.

In the official trailer recently released by Hulu, we see her negotiating with her former “owner” Serena Waterford, on an equal footing for a change; we see her in the home of Commander Lawrence, the man who played a pivotal role in the action at the end of Season 2 (we’re thrilled to see him again – more is more when it comes to Bradley Whitford); we see her connection to Nick being as strong and as secretive as ever; we see her ally Emily protecting June’s baby daughter, wherever she may be; and we see June finally assuming the dangerous, daring, powerful role she was meant to play in the resistance all along.

If you’re entering The Handmaid’s Tale for the first time, catch up on the action by streaming Seasons 1 to 2 on Showmax while you wait for Season 3 to arrive.

Brand-new weekly episodes of Season 3 will come to DStv Now every Monday from 10 June 2019, as well as to Showmax, where you’ll be able to watch the same episode at the same time every week, as well as one episode ahead.
