Somizi’s traditional wedding dilemma in Living The Dream S4

He's planning a wedding and rekindling friendships - Somizi invites us back into his crazy yet glamorous world in the fourth season of his hit reality show. By Zibuyile Dladla

The planning of what is anticipated to be one of the most significant celebrity weddings in South African entertainment is proving to be a bit overwhelming for Somizi and Mohale.

To wed or not to wed?

On Thursday night, Somizi ushered in the fourth season of his popular reality show. And although he is living out his wildest dreams, some parts of his life are seemingly starting to become a bit of a nightmare.

If memory serves you correct, you will recall that Somizi proposed to his fiancé Mohale in Paris during the previous season of the show. And even though the two are excited about getting married, the high expectations surrounding their wedding is beginning to settle in. After all, this is not just your average Joe getting married, it’s SomGaga!

The couple is quite confident with the plans surrounding their white wedding. However, it is their traditional wedding that is giving Somizi sleepless nights.

The confusion about the traditional wedding proceedings has been lingering heavy on Somizi’s mind, to the point that he was even considering cancelling the traditional wedding and proceeding with the white wedding only. But after a much-needed deep and meaningful conversation with Gogo Dineo Dlanzi (a respected spiritual healer in the entertainment circuit), the couple has decided to continue with their plans for the traditional wedding as well.

The return of TT

Somizi’s close friend TT, is back on the reality show after an unexpected hiatus in the previous season. TT’s sudden disappearance caused a lot of concern among the show’s avid viewers, who questioned whether Somizi and TT’s friendship was still in a healthy condition after their many minor quarrels in the previous seasons.

To our surprise, TT is now back on the show and briefly explained that he also had no idea why he was excluded from the third season. We’re just glad he’s back – the jabs he and Somizi throw at each other are always a highlight.

We’re only one episode in, but from the previews we’ve seen thus far, it seems like Season 4 of the reality show is bound to be filled with a lot of celebrations, confusion, drama and happiness.

Watch Season 1 to Season 4 of Living The Dream With Somizi on Showmax.
