Eric Bana plays Mossad agent Avner Kaufman who leads the squad of volunteers in their pursuit of the terrorists, who’ve scattered around the world. The squad was sanctioned by the Israeli prime minister, Golda Meir, but caused much controversy.
The movie, which is directed by Steven Spielberg, makes use of real news footage from the attacks. It was nominated for five Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director.
