The teens of Riverdale return to our screens for more fun, drama, saucy musical numbers, and loads of trouble that would scare off most youngsters.
While the Covid-19 pandemic cut the previous season short by three episodes, Lea Marilla Thomas from looper.com, said: “Riverdale has never met a cliffhanger it didn’t love, and the Riverdale season 4 finale didn’t disappoint in terms of twists and spooky reveals.”
On the back of that cliffhanger, the new season starts with Betty and Jughead working to bust a snuff film ring. Enough about that, how about school? Graduation is fast approaching but Archie has failed his senior year, and in episode 3, he and the gang make some big decisions about what they’ll do next.
Episode 4 will begin after a seven-year time jump, with Archie returning to Riverdale, Betty undergoing training with the FBI, Veronica in her 4th year of marriage to controlling rich man Chad, and Jughead in New York, working on his latest novel.
Seasons 1 to 4 are on Netflix if you need to catch up.
