Watch: The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 trailer
Seasons 1 to 3 of the Handmaid’s Tale had us on the edge of our seats, and we can’t wait to find out what’s in store for June and the rest of the resistance in Gilead in the new season.
Hulu recently announced that Season 4’s launch had been pushed back to 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic, but when it does arrive, it will be available to stream only on Showmax in South Africa.
Take a look at the teaser trailer that dropped yesterday.
It looks as if June survived being injured in the Season 3 finale, and that she’s ready to take up arms again to save the innocent in Gilead. But it’s also clear that Aunt Lydia will not go down without a fight.
As reported in Radio Times, series creator Bruce Miller told TVGuide that Season 4 has more difficulties in store for our heroine June:
“We are following June, and June lives in Gilead, and Gilead is not a nice place. And it will continue to be not a nice place. And we try to be very realistic about what would probably happen and how things work.”
As June declares in the trailer, “We’re just getting started.”
While we wait for Season 4, we’ll be binge-watching Seasons 1 to 3 on Showmax.
