The Pearsons are back (15 Jan)
In the season two finale, Toby and Kate exchanged vows, surrounded by love and joy from their respective families – though getting to the altar proved to be quite the mission for both of them. And just when Randall and Beth thought things were going to get better with their foster daughter Déjà, the struggling teen had a breakdown following the departure of her biological mother. In the season 3 premiere, big changes are afoot for Kate, Kevin and Randall as they celebrate their 38th birthday.
Will True Detective S3 live up to the first season? (17 Jan)
An intricate and brutal murder, a haunted detective duo and a lingering, decades-old mystery set the scene for the new season of the critically acclaimed drama. This instalment of the gritty crime anthology plays out over three separate time periods: 1980, 1990 and 2015.
Ali stars as Detective Wayne Hays who, in the present, is retired and called upon to look back at the disappearance of a young Arkansas boy and his sister in 1980. With his memory failing, the case triggers vivid recollections and enduring questions for the man, who worked the case 35 years ago with his partner Roland West.
Episodes will be coming to Catch Up on the DStv Now app three days after it airs in the US.
