This anthology series from Marc Cherry, the creator of Desperate Housewives, follows three women living in the same house, in different decades, all dealing with infidelity in their marriages in their own ways.
In the first episode we’re introduced to Beth Ann (Ginnifer Goodwin), who, in 1963, finds out her husband is having an affair. In 1984, socialite Simone (Lucy Liu) has her life turned upside down when she discovers her husband’s devastating secret. And in the third storyline, set in the present day, Taylor (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) and her husband Eli’s open marriage is about to come under threat without either of them suspecting it.
As Salon.com writes, “As the title and Roy Lichtenstein-inspired opening credits hint, each of these women will somehow get blood on their hands before the season ends, although by the end of the premiere episode it’s not clear whether it will be someone else’s or their own. They aren’t the drama’s only women, and none is entirely innocent.”
